ThrillScape
Experience Website for Mobile & Desktop
ThrillScape is a concept outdoor activity experience designed for thrill seekers, set in dramatic natural environments.
Users can choose between experiences set during the day or the night for a customisable thrill level, in which they compete for the fastest time to complete the course.
The Brief
This project involved choosing an interesting combination of a theme and an audience, and creating a desktop and mobile website that promotes and allows users to book a fun, physical experience.
Ideation
I started the ideation phase with mindmaps of potential audiences and themes to choose. I took some of these into basic wireframe sketches and began some user research surrounding them.
Research
I moved into next looking at some visual research, which reflected the themes I was looking into. These included various outdoor activities, experiences and natural landscapes.
Low Fidelity & Wireframing
After some further planning and wireframing, I created a low fidelity prototype of approximately how I wanted the mobile website to be laid out.
High Fidelity & Prototyping
The final high fidelity design is clean and refined, with a strong brand identity linking to the thrill aspect of the experience. I chose the font Jura for headings, styled consistently in capitals only, and Sen for body text, as its sharp, pointy edges help to emphasise the brand.
